Please read the following rules carefully.
1. Have fun.
2. Be honest
3. All official games require at least two players.
4. Scores must be confirmed by at least one other player in your group.
5. All tournament settings and formats must be observed.
6. All players are required to use only created profile golfers. All players' games are considered unofficial if said player does not use a created profile golfer.
7.All official games will be ranked.
8. Players are allowed to set up their own pairings and scheduled tee times. All players must post their prefered tee times on the tee time posting board.
9. A player may be removed from the forum if said player fails to participate in 3 consecutive tournaments without prior notification to league administrators.
10. All tournament deadlines are Wednesdays at 2:00 am EST. In the event of a schedule conflict, administrators reserve the right to allow players to make up games at a later time.
11. A player must notify administrators of a schedule conflict 24 hours prior to deadline.
12. All players are required to record their scores in official games.
13. In the event of a disconnect, all holes prior to disconnect will count unless disconnect happens before the completion of the second hole. Upon restart of game, official hole scores will resume after players have played through the last recorded hole score of the previous game. This rule applies on multiple restars as well.
14. Any player intentionally disconnecting on official game may be banned from league play.
15. The DGA reserves the right to change the league scoring system. Any changes made will be retroactively implented during the current season.
16. All official games must have the required current tournament password. Any game that is played without the current rquired password is considered practice and will not count as an official score. Players may not accept invites from official games. All invites are considered practice and will not count as an official score.
17. The DGA reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations without prior notice.
18.The player who is hosting regular official tournament games must have their difficulty options setting for wind speed placed at 30% or normal settings. This rule does not apply to practice games. Any future modifications concerning wind speed will be determined by polling the DGA members in good standing or special games created by the DGA that may or may not be official.
19) When accepting an invitation to play from a DGA member, it is considered unofficial. To make a game official you must join the game and enter the correct password.
20) For NC official play you must have the following settings:
A. Under offline main game OPTIONS > GAME SETUP you must have:
- Assisted Hole Outs turned to OFF.
- Swing Difficulty must be set to ADVANCED. This is done to disable putt preview and manual(easy) fade/draw.
B. Under offline main game OPTIONS > DIFFICULTY OPTIONS you must have:
- SPIN set to OFF.
- PUTT PREVIEW set to OFF.
ALL other aids (putt meter, wind indicator, etc) are optional and may be left on/enabled
C.Upon beginning any NC match, before teeing off your first shot you must hit + then Options and make sure swing is set to Advanced there as well
D. You must create a NC personna to play official NC games. Your NC personna must be your standard personna with "nc" added at the end if possible. If your DGA name is too long to add NC too (maximum of 12 characters allowed in EA name) please shorten your name enough to add nc at the end. For example FrankJohnson would become FrankJohnsnc.
21. Tee Times: It is the host's responsibility to check the tee time prior to play to see how many players are scheduled for play. If the tee time slot is less than 4 players, a nonscheduled player may enter on a "first come/first served" basis. If the tee slot is full, the host must ensure that the correct players have entered the game. If a player who is not scheduled enters the scheduled game, the host must kick that player. If a scheduled player has informed the host that he/she is unable to play then that slot can be given to another player based on "first come/first served" basis. We encourage all players to use the DGA chat in the upper right corner of this site located to the right of the logout icon. This way you can talk to the other players and perhaps split into two groups if needed to accommodate new players.
22. In the event of a glitch during online play in which glitch is defined as an unintentional or uncontrollable event by either player or game programmer, it will be decided by the administrators of this league whether or not official game scores will be adjusted or official games will be disqualified. All decisions are final.
23. A player who does not comply with the above rules and regulations may be removed from the league without notice.
