DGA Scoring System

Each player will be awarded points based on that players finish.

For example:

1st place: 1 point
2nd place: 2 points
3rd place: 3 points
4th place: 4 points
5th place: 5 points

and so on. This point system will be applied to all formats of league play. When all tournaments and the playoff are concluded, the player with the fewest points will be crowned as DGA Champion for that season.

Scoring scenerios are covered below.

Example:

1. A player is able to finish 1 game of a tournament but not the other. That player will finish last for that tournament with 3 penalty points.

2. Three players complete only 1 tournament game. Those player's finish will be based on the score of each player's game. All 3 players will have 3 penalty points.

3. A player skips a tournament. That player will finish last for that tournament plus 5 penalty points.

4. Two players tie for 4th. Those players will each receive 4 points. The next player will 6th place and receive 6 points.

**A player is allowed to drop the lowest Standard Play score of the season. All NC Play games will count towards the season standings.**
